DHD Consulting is Hiring a Quality Engineer Near Decatur, AL

Essential Functions
•Prioritize opportunities that generate the highest level of customer satisfaction and NHA margin.
•Work with software engineers, participate in requirements and design meetings to understand complex business requirements and design test plan. Explores root cause of high failure parts.
Work with local and HQ manufacturing, repair and engineering groups to find and execute solutions.
•Estimate, design, review & execute test plans & report on QA status.
•Document and review test cases, execute test plans and research complex production issues.
•Keep automated test cases updated as functionality and services get updated with new requirements and optimized.
•Perform regression, end to end testing and identify requirement gaps.
•Manage defect log and ensure defect free delivery of complex business requirements.
•Set product performance targets based on both internal and customer goals as well as competitors performance.
•Delivers weekly updates listing progress on current initiates with a focus on high value opportunities and/or critical customer satisfaction issues.
•Conducts executive level reviews to senior management on a monthly bases.
•Coach, mentor and provide guidance of Operation and Engineering, Field Support, and Sales and champion solutions that directly influence product performance in their operational development.
•Conduct variance analysis; report root causes on variance factor; determine the necessary actions to eliminate variance, Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
•Establish relationships with key SCM leadership as well as other LOB to drive continuous product performance as well as maintain good communication
•Establish and maintain tools for tracking and supporting product performance improvement efforts
•Other related duties as assigned.
Education And Experience
•Proven ability to function in a self-directed environment.
•Must excel in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking and strong problem solving skills are required for success.
•Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
•ATM software experience is strongly preferred.
•Previous ticketing and process improvement and reduction experience is needed.
•Minimum of 3 years of management experience.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
•Superior communication and coordination skills.
•Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and to meet tight deadlines.
•Excellent written and oral communication with the ability to converse with management and challenge them, where appropriate.
•Strong planning and organizational and management skills.
